I wasn't able to have breakfast due to having other plans, so I can't review the restaurant. I stayed in the newer section of the Inn. The room was very clean and comfortable. The air conditioning was nice and the ceiling fan was a plus as well. I was here in Charlestown for a family reunion, so it was a very convenient location. The owner gave my cousin and I a quick tour of the inn, before heading out for the day. He was very nice and accommodating. Also on the day of checkout, the manager gave me another detailed tour of the Inn, I found it very fascinating!!! The history that the Inn possesses, is priceless!!! It really has an interesting story, and they are doing a wonderful job keeping the history in tact. I wasn't able to go to the flea market that is held on the property, but will do so on my next visit.

We (myself, husband, daughter) stayed in adjoining rooms with a shared bathroom, which was convenient for us (we were visiting family at the beach, and just used the rooms for sleeping and showering). The rooms are indeed small! There was nowhere to open the suitcase except for on the bed, for example. But everything was updated, and the bathroom in particular was excellent--spotlessly clean, great water pressure, room to hang towels and keep toiletries.

Historical property but very nicely updated and well maintained. Very clean, the personal touch in the room (welcome card and fresh cookies) was above and beyond. Beds were very comfortable and it’s always a perk to have shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower. Coffee, water, fruit and pastries in the morning were lovely.

Location was great for us as our daughter lives in Charlestown and we were here visiting. The Inn is very historic inside which was fun to look around. Our room was not in the Inn, but accessed from the back parking lot of the Inn. Nice with a comfortable bed and roomy enough for us. We enjoyed our stay!

The staff were amazing! Most helpful, friendly, kind and accomodating. The Tavern was so much fun. The location was perfect-close to gorgeous beaches, parks and ponds to explore. Walkable to a fabulous bakery and restaurant. Their own restaurant was quite delicious, too. Off- season satisfaction! Thank you!
